Many folks are keen on carburetor kits.-----But why ?-----Not much goes wrong in there.-----What is your motor doing / not doing ?-----If you have issues with running or idling , then start with a compression test.----Post your numbers.
Underload it runs out of fuel. I’m going to try a separate tank. A 115 Johnson crossflow 1997. I have changed everything. I had someone rebuild the carbs but who knows unless you do it yourself. It idles and runs at low speed great. Coil paks good. Stator changed. Fuel pump. Hoses. Squeeze bulb etc. no water in filter
So it keeps running if you operate the manual fuel pump ?------Post your compression test values as well.-----For future reference.----Fuel pump runs with crankcase PRESSURE and there may be issues there.----Part # of the fuel pump you are using now ?
