Need Center Button for Quicksilver 3000

I have a Quicksilver 3000 throttle control. I broke the center button for that allows you to idle the engine up without it being in gear. Can anyone direct me to somewhere that sells this part?<br /><br />Thanks<br />Chris

Its not available from Mercury/Quicksilver. <br /><br />Don't know anywhere but ebay, and then you will likely have to buy the entire controls.

There is one on ebay right now, item number 4638036993<br /><br />Otherwise, ask around at the boat dealerships, most have a junk pile of old parts, and will let you have it if you spend a little money in their store.

I look at the ebay auction that roscoe listed and my throttle looks different than that one. Mine is out of a 1996 Conquest with Merc 350/Alpha outdrive. It has trim in the handle, tilt and kill switch. It has a square base and the middle button is more rectangular with one end rounded. I will have to check with some local boat shops and see if they have one. I would like to replace it with a teleflex ch-1700, but don't want to spend the $ right now. <br /><br />Thanks<br />Chris
