Need details on Merc prop from OEM number....

My Father-in-law is presently in Florida, and his first day out, he struck a rock and snapped a blade on his prop. I'm trying to find some information on it, and not having much luck. The number and writing on the side of the prop is: "73134A40P12 Mercury". I assume the P-12 means 12" pitch, but what's the diameter? Tried Google, but not coming up with much. He bought it new within the last 5 years.

Good, Circles. Just for info - What motor is the prop for? I googled for starters and like you said not much there. Used another source for my original question.

That part number is listed as a 10.625 X 12 as a Mercury Black Max prop. It's listed as a QA21074X for a Quicksilver Black Diamond 10-5/8 X 12 right here in the prop section for a 50 hp Merc.

So, what you have(had) is a Mercury prop. Fact is, the Quicksilver prop is the same thing.

Thanks for all of your help. The confusion came because the old prop was a 12 pitch, but the box it came in said that it was a 15 pitch. Once I got all that figured out, things started coming together. Thanks again!
