Hey guys, I'm getting no fire on all 4 plugs on my older model 90hp Evinrude. Assuming that all 4 coil packs & both power packs are good & have not went out at the same time, what should I check next ? I have a strong battery, & the motor is turning very well. The motor was running fine 6 months ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

By the cowling it looks to be an 81 model.----Some will argue.-----Charge battery.----Load test battery.----Take starter apart and inspect.----Do ohm check on armature.------If ohms check good the assemble and test for spark.----No coins spent doing this investigation.

Can try jumping from your vehicle. Pos to lug on starter, neg to mount. May not be spinning fast enough.

Do you have a safety lanyard? If so check wiring to be sure its working properly and not grounding out your spark.

I took the starter off, everything looks good. Flywheel is spinning very fast, but still no spark. Thanks.

I do have a safety lanyard. Safety kill switch looks good & seems to be working properly. Wiring also looks great. Thanks.

I’m not try to be a wise guy here but seems to be working doesn’t tell much of a story. Did you test the switch and wiring with an ohm meter to be sure it is working?

Just replace the stator and timer base.----These are the only parts that could be the issue here.
