My understanding is that the scews on each side are air/fuel mixture screws.
A friend said they had the be adjusted as follows. Set the idle on the carb to 800rpm. Screw one side screw in until the motor stalls. back the screw out 1 1/4 turns. Start the motor and do the same on the other side. Start the motor set the idle to 800rpm then back one side of the screw out until the idle increases and goes back to 800, do the same on the other side and it's done.
Was not sure if this is correct and was looking for someone who was familiar with the carb. This is a new carb but older model. Holley confirmed it was a Marine 650 and suitable for a chev 350/5.7 marine motor.
Motor starts up and runs in the driveway but wanted to fine tune it in the lake.
Here are the pics of the side screws.
Appreciate the help, thanks
