I'm having some trouble connecting this binnacle to my motor. I've connected the shift cable to where the manual says I need to connect it (position 4) and I'm finding that it wants to move the shift cable about 4 inches when in full throttle however the motor only allows for about 2 inches of movement. This is a new re-power project on this boat so I'm not sure where to go on this one.
