Need help finding 1964 Starcraft "Cobra" steering wheel

I have the hub and it's in good shape - but the steering wheel was cracked and split beyond repair. Any thoughts on where to find a replacement or something similar?

I've attached a picture of what the original looks like.

if you strike out there, you might post a query on fiberglassics.com.....these wheels are common as fleas on early 60s boats. there's also the resto route, since lots of car people run into this issue and want to keep their orig wheel:

I see them often on ebay, trick is to not limit your search to starcraft.

My wheel is sorta like that, also cracked and split...

I made a quick patch with fiberglass and some primer & paint to get me by for the season.

for me I was not to worried about it as I need new cable & pullies (sounds like my steering is powered by mice), and an entire modern steering system costs just a bit more than new cable & pullies.

look at duckworks for your blocks and sheaves at very reasonable price. i' ve gotten lots of hdwe from them and am very happy with prices and service.

Also try the Starcraft Parts thread in this forum. There is a SC wheel posted recently that might be a good replacement.
