I have a old ('59) Jet model 15 footer and it has no splashwell or holes where one was mounted. I looked at the brochures for those years and it doesnt look they came with one till 1960 or so but its hard to tell...Could this be possible that they came from the factory with no splahwell? It has 3 knee braces..it also has the 2 bech seats (wood) that I am taking out for pedestals. Will this hurt the integrity of the boat? (they are wood after all). Thanks for any info on these well built old boats.
