Hi Guys, just purchased a new project. A springbok model 1432 rated at 25hp from tag. Any idea on what years this model was produced. The manufacturer is listed on tag as ALUMINUM GOODS.

Any help would be appreciated..

We definitely need more information and pictures. Just a precursory google search showed a lot of conflicting information. It appears that Aluminum Goods was a Canadian company that may have bought boats from other manufacturers and rebranded them. A lot of results for Aerocraft popped up (early 60s with different model names) . Princecraft also made a springbok model but they appear to be 70s vintage jonboat style boats that would have had a HIN to give you the year. They are 2 very different designs so pictures would go a long way.

Look into Aerocraft, these are the models that cross referenced with Aluminum Goods products in 1960.

Problem solved guys, by purchasing adobe copies of the Springbok sales brochures from 1970 - 75 ( the years model 1432 was built) I am able to say it is a 1974 or 5 model. The previous years had larger bow lights. With in two years is close enough for me. Model 1432 is called the Sprinter.

With that year, does it have a HIN stamped on the transom?

An oldtimer I worked and fished with in the 80's had the Prince Craft Springbok 14 footer, a Canadian boat. It's still floating as he gave it to another pal before he passed away. It's a great 14 footer. We often had 3 fishing out of it at times, tons of room for a small boat.

I can not see any HIN # on the transom , A few bad coats of paint need to be sanded off.
