Just bought this boat and I have a problem. It is a 93 Stratos 201 xl with a 2002 Honda 200hp 4 stroke. Not very light, I know.
I filled up both tanks this morning. 2-25 gal. And 2 live wells 2-25 gal. That is around 800lbs extra plus 4 batteries and a 4 bank charger all in the back.

My question is how can I make it pull out of the hole faster and not stand straight up in the air. I was thinking of moving the batteries and charger to the front to move some weight off the back.

Very definitive video. Move as much weight forward as possible, trim the motor down during hole shot, consider automatic trim tabs, and -- if needed -- reduce pitch a notch, depending on the WOT RPM.

I moved three batteries and the 4 bank charger to the front. I will try it out tomorrow to see if it helps.
The prop says 14.25 x 21 RH
Is this prop for high end speed?

Correct propping is as much of an art as it is science. No two boats (even "identical" models) will necessarily be optimized with the same prop, as there are too many variables in how the boats are used and the weight distribution. Different numbers of blades and different pitches are for different uses. Hole shot is diametrically opposed to top speed. Low pitch for acceleration, high pitch for top speed. The big thing is to not ever go over the manufacturer's recommended WOT RPM. You may want to discuss this in the prop forum.

Good news
Moving the batteries helped a bunch. It pulled out of the hole and planed off with no problem.
