This hull looks very familiar - its been (I think) gutted and modifed to make into an open skiff style, but I have a feeling it may have originally been an old tri-hull type runabout (speedboat) with walk-thru windshield, open bow, etc. I remember a long time ago these little tri-hull runabouts were very popular, alot of them came in Blue color - had small windshield, seats, steering wheel, and I think bow seating too. I may be totally wrong and maybe it was originally a fishing, console type set-up. I want to say the old tri-hull I am thinking of was made by Maco or mako or something (?)
See 4 pics attached - the person who modified it, if they did gut it out, did such a good job removing everything and making into a skiff/johnboat type boat that its darn hard to tell now what the heck this hull was originally. Can anyone identify the manufacturer, make, model ? (there is no ID plate, hull number or brandname anywhere)

Re: Need help identifying hull

Sorry I am brand new to this, made a mistake on the upload pic process, my files were slightly over the size limit so had to change formats. The 4 pics should upload now and display. I am just very curious - this boat hull on the exterior looks very familiar - no one seemed to know its history, who/how it was modifed, etc. I am just trying to figure out what this boat may have been originally. Thanks for any input, I am hoping someone might recognize the lines.

Nice looking boat. Is there any numbers stamped or molded into it? How are you going to register it? Some states are very picky about titles.

There may be a Hull ID number engraved in the transom. There were a lot of different makes of these little tri-hulls, some famous, some not-so-famous. Looks like somebody did a lot of work to it. If everything is solid, don't worry about who made it- just have fun. I have to ask the same question- How are you going to register it?
