I see you didn't get a lot of help at those other forums. Here's why:
The popularity of Boston Whaler boats caused lots of imitation. A number of companies, most long out of business, made boats similar to the Whaler.
The problem is that they're out of business now, and most were out of business before the internet came online. What that means is that there's just not much information out there. Most of these boats sold in low numbers, and not many survive.
You have such a boat. I realize that you want to "restore" it and make it just like new. It's most likely that you'll just have to fake it a little and make it just like you want it, rather than just like it was when it was new.
If you're insistent on finding out what defunct company made your boat, you could start by finding a library somewhere which has a collection of late 1960s and early 1970s outdoors type magazines and start paging through them, looking for an ad showing a boat just like yours. The search could take years, though.
There's a tiny chance that someone will see a photo of your boat and say,
"Wow! I had a boat just like that. I bought it brand new, and it was made by DefunctCraft in 1969. They were based in Anytown, US, and owned by Jake Boatman. As it happens, I bought their entire stock of parts when they went out of business. Email me if you need anything. I really need to clean up around here, so you can just have what you need."
Sadly, that's unlikely to happen. So, drop into the Restoration section of this forum, and folks will be glad to help you fix up and customize your boat. Then, you can go out and use it as the nice-looking little copy of the BW design it is.
