Need help identifying prop

I recently purchased a boat with an aluminum prop. One of the blades has a sizable bend/chunk out of it. As such, I'd like to replace it. The problem is, I can't find any make/model information on it anywhere. I looked all around the outside and inside the hub.

The only thing I can see on it is stamped 9229 with a 3 and a 2 above the two 9s facing up. Does that mean anything? I assumed I'd be looking for something in the teens to identify size/pitch.

The boat ran fairly well when I had it out with this prop but I need to get the tach going first to really see where I'm at.

The boat is a 81 17ft Mark Twain V-Sonic w/ a 115 Johnson. Right now I'm leaning towards a Solas aluminum prop. Thanks

You might consider having the prop repaired by a prop shop. They can also tell you the size. Did you look under the prop nut? Get the tach working and do some test runs with the repaired prop.If a change seems in order you can keep the prop for a spare.while your at it check the motor height.Raise the motor to a point just before venting becomes a problem.Usually the antivent(cavitation) plate just above the prop ends up a little above the bottom. You could gain 2 to 3 mph under ideal conditions.

Thanks for the suggestions. I plan on keeping the prop as a spare. The first order of business is definitely to get the tach going so I can see where I'm at. I think the motor might be mounted too low as well. It just looks low, even out of the water. It is on the lowest of the three mounting holes.

Ok, pulled the prop off and found the model. It was under the paint/exhaust. Michigan wheel model 011001. Google tells me this is a 14" diameter with a 13 pitch.

The motor is a '82 Johnson 115 which from what I have found has a 2:1 gear ratio.

The ventilation plate is just a little lower than the base of the hull, the motor is mounted at the lowest setting. Wasn't able to get a pick of it in the motor as I was running solo.

The prop is pretty nicked up with a few chunks out of it and a few bends.

Despite all of that, the boat performed pretty well. WOT the tach showed just under 6000, the speedo showed just under 35. I did not have my GPS so I could only go off the boat tach.

I'd like to replace the prop because of the condition, but I'm not sure I need to change diamter/pitch. Thoughts?
