Need help identifying Runabout "El-Ray" with 10hp Johnson

I picked up a runabout with a 10hp Johnson and I would like to find out if anyone knows any information. The only real information that I have to go off is what you see in the pictures. I believe it says El-Ray on in the cursive writing.

Any one know anything on the history, year, make?

Or better yet, maybe you have a great story about this boat.

Don't know anything about it, but it does remind me of the Jetsons

Well cute boat for moving around on the water. You will be hard pressed to use the steering wheel since no controls appear to be hooked up.

Hi, I was just searching for the same information for a boat just like this one, i have one just like it but with a 1956 evinrude 30hp on it. this boat really gets up and goes and turns alot of heads, its a good little boat. I know about as much about mine as you know about yours it says El Rae on the side and the town of Rice lake wisconsin under it. Also there is a badge on the steering weel that says Surf Inc. and thats about all i know, like i said its a good little boat and a lot of fun, cheers!
