Need help identifying this boat make model and year for restoration

Hello all.
Please have a look at these pictures and assist me in identifying the make, model and year. This a fixxa upper I would like to purchase but the owner dont know its make. model or year. It would help to have this information before I decide to purchase and start my restoration project. Thanks alot and stay safe in the water everyone

It should have a hull number on the transom. That's prob the best place to start unless someone can identify it just from picture. The trailer is "home made" for sure. Be-careful about an owner that knows nothing about it....no title?.... sounds fishy.

Yeah thanks. New to boating, more into motorbikes. This boat is in Trinidad, Caribbean where I am from.

I got the make , model and year of manufacture. Thanks for the assistance. So I can now make an informed decision on whether to purchase and do the restoration or keep looking for a better deal. Its a 1988 Yamaha P17X by the way. Its 17ft and has a 140 hp yamaha outboard. Thanks again and stay safe on the water people.

Look for a number molded into the transom .......... it might be a boat built with some US identification ........... then post the number here and we can help more
