Anyone have any idea what make and model this boat is? I have the option to pick this up and could try to restore it for a decent fishing rig? Also if this would be a good candidate for an offshore bracket and minimum HP for it etc.

The seller should have paperwork to answer your questions about what it is.

Its abandoned on a property that a client of mines bought; he is giving it away and was wondering if it's worth the time and effort to restore this boat.

Explore getting a title or legal paperwork. It may be a big yard planter.

It has numbers on the hull, that would be a good place to start, how difficult the paper work is to straighten out would determine a lot on if it is worth the money and time to restore it.

Hard to see the hull number, my client will file a abandonment paper with dmv and sign a release of interest iI decide to pick up. It's about 3 hr drive and the picture doesn't really show too much details.

Don't forget the trailer needs paperwork, too. Sometimes making trailers legal is harder than boats.

There is registration numbers on the bow of the craft, that will give you a lot of information about year, make, model which needs to be determined on if it is actually worth going through it.

Once you figure that out, then I would look at it and see if you feel it is worth having a survey done on it, I would not even consider doing anything on a boat like that without having a survey done.

In WA 3 years till a title is given after filling ownership in doubt, but will still have registration given so it can be used during those time period. I really don't mind waiting, if this boat is sea worthy after repowering and fixing all necessities then it would be worth the wait.
