Need help ID'ing what impeller i need.

'74 mercruiser 255MIE Auxillary water pump, i do not believe its the factory auxiliary pump though, i found 3 numbers on it

on the main casing:
46
73823

and on the cap for the impeller access:
59155

I cant seem to find anything that matches these numbers

An auxillary pump where and what does it supply water to.
Any serial# anywhere on the motor or transom/drive?Ford or Chevy Block?
