Need help in ID of old outboard

I have what I think may be a Firestone outboard from the 40's. It has 462-26695 stamped on it. On the cylinder head casting, 1881 is on one side and 462 is on the other. It is a single cylinder with rope start. Any information would be helpful in identification so that I can begin restoration.

462 is a 1946 Firestone 3.6hp. Built by Scott Atwater for sale through Firestone outlets...
