Need help interpreting closed cooling diagram

I need help interpreting the definition of the color code for the closed water cooling diagram attach. Does the red arrow mean "hot water", blue=?, green=?, etc.

I think you should concentrate on the red (raw water) and the yellow (engine coolant) for now. What engine are you considering? That diagram is more complicated than most of the earlier systems. The green and blue will get you confused when trying to understand an early system.

There is a key in the diagram (in the manual) that tells you what each color means. PS Post a SN of your engine and drive so we know what you are working on. Better yet, a discription in your signature would help

This is a boat I'm looking at buying '03 larson 18'6" w/ 4.3mpi mercruiser.

I didn't see the legend. I'll look again.

I just looked, no legend in the online manuals.
I'm sure it's in the paper manual, but I don't have one to look at, anyway, here is what the colors are

Red = Raw water
Blue = Flushing hose attachment
Green = Drain
Yellow = Antifreeze
