The motor is a Mercury 200 Offshore 2.5L . Person who sold me the motor said water pump was gone and needed to be changed. When facing the motor (towards prop)there is a water line running from right to left at top of motor intersects there then comes down to below cover. I cleaned the hose out and now getting water flow through it. There is a second hose on the left side of motor at the bottom that comes out about 1 in. away from the other hose. I cleaned it also. What is this second hose for? water also? vent? overflow? Any help is much appreciated.
