need help new motor install...

need help just got a 120evinrude im putting it on a 22 foot bay liner need help with the wireing can i gust splice in and what is what [diagram] of some sort???? please and thank you.....

What was on before..a force motor? if so i dont know if they will wire up..u may need a new controller and harness.....

Correct. You'll need the correct controls for your motor. If you do, everything is pretty much "self contained" and you can just hook up the battery leads.

ya we took off a force i got the steering dun my linkeg will work and my controles will work i have the new wire harnes what wires go where?? for the asseries and trim????? allso need to change the ends of my shift cabels to atach to the motor am i right..... thanks

You need the correct (BRP/OMC) controller and harness.

got all wireing with motor and i think the controls are right just need to know what wire goes wher what color is what need a wireing dieagram i think

If you have the right stuff, it just plugs in.

The wiring harness that is connected to the remote control should have a red plug on the end. It connects to the red plug on the engine.

As for the tilt and trim..... the wires are of heavy gauge. Blue is up, green is down and red is the hot wire lead.

The trim motor connects to the battery then connects to a solenoid then leads to the remote control trim switch.
