Thanks for the info so quick I just wanted to make sure it's running right for fishing. Any guess on why it's leaking oil... Is that a common problem?

Anything can be a common problem from age, useage and maintenance issues.

The oil that you put in the gas goes through the engine and out the exhaust. That may be what you are seeing, especially if you are running it in a bucket. In any case, it is perfectly normal.

But check the gear oil in the lower unit, just to make sure that is ok. It is a totally different oil.
