Just picked up a 18ft trihull has 4cyl mercury Serial # 1673828 can someone please help me find out what year and horse power this engine is ???? Thank You
The attached is a link to the Old Merc" site. It gives range of serial numbers for models and years for that serial number range. Your serial number falls in range for several models and years. Not positive but, 4cyl's start somewhere around the 850 model from 1964 to 1966 . I think 1967 was the first year for a 4cyl 650. So my guess is an 850 or 1000. Pictures speak a thousand words.
