iBoats has some kits made by Aqualarm and some made by Cole Hersee

I'd take the Cole Hersee kits (IMHO)

The systems have a sender that usually goes into a secondary location on the thermostat housing The buzzer would be located up behind the instrument panel at the helm. Once the engine water temp gets to about 200 degrees F, it trips the sender and the alarm buzzer sounds.

Power source should be to the engine ignition switch, same as the rest of the instrumentation.
