Sry its taking me so long to respond
This uphulstry job is a pain in the rear...It is VERY time consuming. And it will make you wanna throw the tools across the room

BUT, finshed products are great. There was a few minor inperfections when staring right at them. But they should look great when mounted up. Im going all red vinyl with blue accent stripes. Gonna go with grey carpet to tie it all together.
I used the idea above and used a staple gun, vinyl "starter strips" cut from siding edge trim cost .84.

I dotted hot glue on the foam to keep in place so it didnt move while covering, pulled stapled repeated...
The HARDEST part of this whole process is making everything match the opposite panel.

any questions/comments feel free to ask.

NOTE: Excuse my 2 yr old daughter in the first pic, she was forman the whole time lol
Prolly why it took me sooo long

Sorry about my feet in the pics, my phone took them and wouldnt get the whole panel without them in it:facepalm:

Also, its a bit tricky to convince the wife to let you make a HUGE mess in her kitchen

Thanks a lot :D It has been a LOT more then i anticipated.

OOO and i didnt use the old foam afterall, it was cut in a million pieces from factory and i made my own design,
I found a great deal on 1" foam at Wal mart came in a roll 72" long aprox. 30" wide two if these is enough with leftover.
cost 18 dollars each.

I have pics of the build on my camera, im getting ready to upload asap
