need help suzuki 9.9

I just bought a boat with a suzuki 9.9 DT outboard 00933 302490 are the numbers on it I need to know the year and make model so i can get a service manual,it has 30 minutes of use and looks brand new but i don't now how or where the electric start is please help.

do you have battery leads coming off motor?if you do it is in fact a electric start motor and should have a push button on front of motor pan.if you dont have battery leads it is not a electric start.

I do have leads i hooked them up pushed the green button and nothing? mind you there is no gas going to this unit but should I atleast get a click out of it?

motor doesnt spin over or nothing.check motor fuse if good check starter relay.starter should spin motor over reguardless of gas if spins the motor than hook up gas.

one more thing dumd question make sure motor is in nuetral or will not do nothing.

motor is in neutral no spin or click the only way it spins is if i pull start? dealer tells me it needs carb overhaul and water pump rubber spinner replaced and a huge overhaul since it has not run since 1983 and only winterized what do you all think?
