I am working on an old boat. I have it stripped down and I am ready to seperate the hull from the lid so that I can make some necessary repairs. My question is this.... In the splashwell there is a drain hole that goes through the transom. This drain hole has a brass "tube" that is flared on each end (i assume to keep it in place?). I need to know 1) how do i take this out without causing damage and 2)how do I put it back when I put it back together. Thanks in advance for the help.
