I recently purchased a 14 ft boat. the only paperwork with it is a
1986 registration paper from Idaho that says the boat is a 1957 SELM. I have not been able to find Selm online and nobody I have talked to has ever heard of one. The metal plate in the stern by the transom says P-14, Fiberglass Boat, No. 1541, manufactured for Motorboat Distributing Co., 15301 S. Vermont, Paramount, Calif. By the steering wheel is an emblem that looks like a badge with wings with P.14 in the middle of it. If any one knows actual make, model year, weight, capacity ???? and where I might be able to find pictures so I have a model for restoration I would be grateful. The motor is a 1957 35hp Evinrude Lark. Can't seem to get pictures posted here but they are in my profile.
