I recently purchased this project boat but do not know exactly what kind it is. It is a 14ft boat and there is a metal plate inside that says "P-14 Fiberglass Boat No. 1541 Manufactured for Motorboat Distributing Co. 15301 S. Vermont, Paramount Calf." It was registered last in Idaho as a 1957 SELM and the registration was issued in 1986. It also came with a 1957 35hp Evinrude Lark on it. I have looked up SELM and have not found anything and also been to numerous Marina's where nobody had ever hear of that SELM Make nor could they find anything. The most distinctive feature is the emblem by the steering wheel which is picture 10a. Any help with actual make, weight capacity, or information where I can get pictures etc. would be greatly appreciated.
