I live in Indianapolis. My lake house is in Syracuse Indiana (half way between South Bend and Fort Wayne). I have dropped off my gauges for restoration at the Antique Boat Center in Cincinnati. I am looking for a good route from Cincinnati to Syracuse. Google maps and Map quest both want to take me back to Indianapolis and then north to the lake.

Is there a decent route going north out of cincy to say Ft. Wayne, Indiana?

You could run 127 north for a nice ride, or go up 75 to US 30 for time be about 2 1/2 hrs on 75 at most. Gas at 30 is normally a little less than most places and 30 goes into Fort Wayne is all 4 lane but not sure of speed limit but thinking it is 65 too

I used to go back and forth between home in Cincy and co-op work in Fort Wayne. 127 is quite nice, but 75 to 30 will give you probably the quickest route. 30 is a nice drive too until you get into the boring Indiana part! It pops you out at the northeast corner of 469.

OK guys, thanks for the tips. But..... I'm having trouble finding 127 on google maps or map quest. Not leaving until Friday so I have time. I am just looking for the fastest route from Cincy to my lakehouse.

Then take 75 to beaverdam, then 30 to Fort Wayne. 127 goes through small towns, it is west of Cinci at Eaton if I remember right
