need help with 135hp yamaha !!!!!

the boat fires up on first or second try everytime, the issue im having is when ive been driving for a while and the engine starts warming up, and i come to a complete stop the engine starts idling very low and ends up stalling....and will not fire up until engine is cooled off. ive been told it has something to do with the cdi unit, but i dont want to spend 500$ for something im not sure of....

any help would be greatly appreciated....

need to test inputs and outputs of CDI while problem is there

Yes the voltage need to be in spec as the service manual has in it
and you need to have the test equipment it calls for in the manual or at least a DVA adapter with your regular meter
