need help with 80 hp mercury 1992ish And Force Control

anyway to make my controls into a 8 pin for the 80 hp mercury i just got

i just picked up a 1990's 80 hp mercury and it has a 8 pin plug connector thing for controls on engine side ... the controls on my boat are off a 1991 70 hp force (8 single wires) and 2 for the power tilt and trim and they are perfect condition and want to know if and how to splice a 8 pin male connection on my controls... i posted a picture of my current wires and i do have the diagram on which colour goes where for the force but a idea of what pin number does what on engine side...... if any of this makes sense please help..... this is my first boat

What is the serial number of the Merc?

this is the control box.. the force cables are still hooked up to it as well..

Those cables won't work. I don't know if the control will work with Merc cables.

Amarine-made Boat Motor Side Mount Remote Control Box with Detailed Installation and Operation Manual (8 Pin 881170A15)... will those be good? and i have no problem getting new cables to but if i'm correct there the gen 1 that will fit right?
