HELLO, WE NEED HELP WITH A FORCE 125 HP 1987 ENGINE THAT #1 &3 CYLINDERS WON'T FIRE EVEN AFTER WE CHANGED COIL PACKS. tOOK A VOLTAGE READING, #1 IS SHOWING 36V, #2 IS 4V, #3 IS 14V #4 IS 4V. ANY SUGGESTIONS?? THANKS!!

I'm having the same problem with my 1989 125 HP Force. I've checked the trigger and stator and so far everything has pssed as being good as best I can tell. I swapped the cd modules around on the engine with no improvement so I ordred a used module which should be here in a day or two, going to try it and see if there's any improvement in spark.
Have you checked to see if there's a pinched or bare wire between the cd module mounting bracket and engine possibly shorting #1 or #3 causeing lack of spark. Have you ohmed out your stator and trigger to see if there good?
