Need help with identifying part for 1985 Century 2000 Sport LX-A

Hello,

I am new to the forum and frankly new to boating. In a couple of weeks I'll have my hands on a 1985 Century 2000 Sport LX-A. Currently there is still some work to be done to the boat. On the deck, I noticed these rather large holes on the side and frankly I do not know what went there - see below. Can anyone tell me what they were for? Thanks.

Can't really see the holes in this picture. Do you have a straight on shot? Check out my reply on your cushion thread. Those guys can most likely help with this as well.

Hi I'm new to boating and recently purchased the same boat, but mine is an LX. Do you know if there is a difference with that and the LX-A? The interior of my boat is not original and I would love to see pictures of what it was new. Could you post a few more? I have looked everywhere for information on this boat and cannot seem to find any. Do you have any sites that you found useful?
