Need help with painting project (PIC)

The boat I bought someone painted over the original color. I don't know what kind of paint they used but it is chipping and flakeing off all over. I'm only going to use this boat for fishing not a show piece. I already sand blasted the old paint off and need a good suggestion on what to do next. Here is a picture of the engine cover after being sand blasted. I will probably use the original color to re-paint. Remember I don't need it to shine I just want it presentable. Any suggestions would be great. thankyou, Zet

Do you have Spraying capabilities,..??...

I'm pretty partial to 2pt. Automotive Urethanes.....

Just go get some polyurethane paint mixed to whatever color, roll & tip, brush, just roll, whatever. It will be shiny, durable, and last as long as you need it. No need to over complicate things...
