A new rotary NFB helm kit with a new clamp mount from U-flex or Seastar is what I would get

I agree. Now finding one that is 8 ft long.,that is the problem. Anybody have any suggestions where to find one?

no. I looked a bunch this morning...

I'll keep looking.

On shift cables, I have just added a loop but I think the sterring cable might be a bit too stiff?

No the 8 ft is actually to long as is.

I had about a 6' cable in my hellion . That was a special order vs finding on the shelf

You need to look at the manufacturer catalogs, then search by part number if the size is readily available retail, or custom order. For short cables, it will most likely be custom order. Unless your dash and bow area allow a large sweeping coil and you can get into a 10-12' cable
