You really didn't give any information as to the nature of your problem so how can you expect us to help?
We need to know what speed you are acheiving at Wide Open Throttle and what RPM is attained at WOT and this speed.
Now, that said, a 150 on a 22 foot hull will only deliver 32-35 MPH. And that is considering that you are only at average load conditions--couple of people and a full tank. So if you are there, then you really don't have a problem. However, you can squeek out a couple of MPH more by investing in a stainless prop if you do not already have one.
If you have that stock semi-cleaver, black aluminum piece-of-crap prop, even a Michigan aluminum replacement will work a bit better.
And, of course, if you don't know what WOT is that tells me that you are somewhat of a novice. So---learn how to use the power trim to maximise the speed of the hull. Play around with it going from full trim in to full trim out and see where the speed is best. It can make a 5 or more MPH difference.
AH-HA! after answering I scrolled down and you have another post showing your RPM as 3800. This is too low. If the engine runs well and does not appear to have problems, then you need to check the prop. You may have a prop with too much pitch. The diameter of the props is set at around 13 inches but pitch can be had from 15 to 21 inches. Pitch is like gears on a car. It determines to a degree the final top speed. I would expect that with that engine you should be using a prop no greater than 17 pitch, and if you are already using a 17 pitch, 15 might be better. You need to get that engine somewhere in the 4500-5500 RPM range at WOT.
Depending on the prop, pitch may be stamped into the hub between the blades or you may have a number stamped into the hub surface behind the prop nut and washer. That number will define the prop.
