Need help with velvet drive!

Hey everyone Im new here and hopefully I can help some people and be helped myself ! Heres my problem, I have a velvet drive series 1500, assembly number 10-28-000-101, that has lost reverse. Also while running it makes a noise in the case that kinda sounds like marbles tumbling. I would like to rebuild the unit but im having serious trouble finding parts to make the repair. Ive tried internet searches and calling various places including velvet. Also how do I separate the drive from the foot, just figured id ask before I tear something up. Ive worked in the automotive field for years but am still a little green when it comes to boats. Im sure someone here can help me this looks like a great cite! The boat im working on is in the sig. Here is a link to download the OEM manuals for those transmissions. Not sure which one is for your model.

The rebuild kits and some parts are available from many dealers that sell Sierra marine parts. NAPA is one.

Lyle, thanks for the link but im already a member there and have posted a thread asking the same information lol.
Don, I forgot about napa housing marine parts, Ill have to check there. From everything ive read so far on this unit parts are going to be very hard to come by. So I need help from anyone and everyone on locating a place for me:facepalm:!
