I just came across a old sears 5 hp motor (te***seh) and having trouble finding a new carb. Can anyone help.

------------------
Volsman
Don't know where you live but try small engine repair (mower/tiller) places. You might need to take it in for them to see, but Te.... parts are sill available.
That engine used a Tillotson carb also used by other Sears small engine products. An overhaul kit would cost a lot less than a new carb. It would be worth the trouble to find a similar carb.

Red Sky.....
JB
You might try giving these guys a stab at it as it should be very similar to an eska
http://certifiedpartscorp.com/

Or even try the 1-800 number in your local phonebook for sears parts.
Thanks to all who replied, it gave me a starting point. All the small engine shops around here say they can't match it up or they don't wont to take the time to do so.
try going right to the sears website and looking there. i recently purchased parts for my 74 Ted Williams from sears. Boy was i shocked that they still stock some parts for there older motors. Good luck Dave
