Need Help!!!

I have a 2006 225 H.O. Evinrude and it surges at idle and skips when trying to get the boat to plane out. I checked the spark, compression, injectors and reeds everything checks out I dont know what it could be.????

Welcome to iboats, air leak in fuel line, spark plug wire shorting out to block. also when posting please put part of your problem in your title.

This engine should still be under warranty and you should not have to touch it. Go to the Evinrude web site and do a dealer search for your area. Be sure to pick a dealer that has a Certified Tech logo next to there information.

Do you have the software to service the engine? If not then the spark and injectors were not tested right. As for reeds I do not know how these were tested unless you pulled the intake off and inspected them.
