Recently bought a used pontoon, and upon the 2nd time I used it, I hit a stump and broke off a piece of the propeller....
ESSENTIAL DATA REQUIRED
When posting a question about propellers, you cannot get a reasonable answer unless you provide the following information in your post: Items 1-4 are essential for meaningful response to most questions.
1) Performance issue you are trying to correct. Ran fine I guess, I am a novice and really dont know alot about boating[/U]
2) Current prop manufacturer, model, aluminum or stainless as a minimum. not sure of manufacturer came with boat...# on prop 77340A45P13 and it is aluminum
3) Current prop diameter and pitch (required). hoping that # above will help someone answer that for me
4) Wide open throttle RPM and speed with an average load (very helpful) Not really sure sorry
5) Engine/drive make, model, year, and HP Mercury 50hp 4stroke 2007
6) Boat make model, year, length and weight 2008 Bentley 200 fish, 20ft
like I previously stated I am new to boating and when I enter the above # I cant find a match....and guess I am looking for an aluminum prop, was told that since I really am not going anywhere in a hurry in a pontoon that it would be cheaper to have to replace an aluminum prop than a lower unit....thank you for any help that anyone is able to offer
