need Honda info.

Hi everyone, new to this site, I got a honda outboard from a friend at work very cheap, the numbers on the stern and block areB75 4008930 ,not sure of the year, and can i still get gaskets for the carb. the motor looks great but has not run in years, so i figur i should start with the carb rebuild,

Buffalo Vince welcome to the forum.
Your motor is from the mid-70's. Don't know about the availablity of parts for those years(I had a mid-80's 7.5hp and parts were easy to get).
Before you start rebuild of carb you should fire it up to see if it runs? Who knows maybe it needs just new plugs, change of oil, new lower unit gear oil, and cleaning the carb.
What did your friend tell you about the motor before you bought it?

My buddy said it ran great, this is going back about 5 or 6 years, i am gonna try to start it once i get a fuel tank for it, should be by the the end of the week, I allready changed the oil 10w30, and lower unit 90 weight oil, plugs look ok i might put in 2 new ones, i will let you guys know the outcome, Thanks
