need ids

I have two motors that I need ID's for one is a 28hp Johnson Model RX11A Serial no.2377790 the other is a evenrude 40 hp model 35520 Serial no.06726 Any help is appreciated

Hi, Phil.<br /><br />The RX-11 is a 1963 28hp. Use Champion J4Cs at .030. Set points at .020. Fuel mix is 24:1 <br /><br />Your Evinrude is a 1960 40hp. Same specs on plugs and points. Also a 24:1 engine.<br /><br />Good luck.
