Need information on an old mercury outboard motor

I have an old mercury motor the plate on it indicates the model number as "KD-4", the serial number is "138404". Can anybody tell me when it was manufactured, what horsepower it is, is it worth anything as an antique, etc.? The color is grey or silver. Any help is appreciated. Thanks - Dave
