Need information on this engine

I just bought this engine and I don't know what make or year it is. I've been looking all over and I can't figure it out. It says JC Penney on it. 3.5 HP, 85cc, model 0901-A, and serial # 97*147180. I don't know if the * is just a blank space, dash, or number it is really worn off and I can barely read the numbers off of it. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.

1979 3.5Hp made by Eska with a Tecumseh 642-28A air cooled powerhead. Sears sold a virtual twin model 217.585241. Go to www3.sears.com and enter their model number and you might be able to access parts diagrams, and you might be able to get parts from them too. Lawnmower dealers can also help with powerhead parts. Use air-cooled 2-stroke oil instead of outboard oil.
