My goodness, a 12 ft Starcraft. That brings back memories. That was 1964, but I can't imagine much had changed with the boat you're talking about. One was a Camper model the other a Scamp as I recall. I was doing miserably in math and science in the 8th grade and my dad promised to by me a new 12ft Starcraft and 5/1/2 Johnson if I made B's or better in both. Ya know what? I got my new boat!
