Need Mercruiser Engine Manual no Serial Number

I have started this from a previous thread that was getting a bit long. I am need of a Service Manual for what I believe is a Mercruiser. The Serial # plate is missing. The casting indicates a Chevy 305 96-98. Is there anything else on the Engine I can use to narrow it down to what Merc Service Manual I need. Would prefer an online manual if available. Below are a few pictures and there is a 75-76 High Profile 225HP White Boat Anchor attached to it.

I believe that engine would be a Mercruiser 5.0L (1998-2001) in the serial number range of 0L015751-0M599999. Service manual would be # 24.

I was taking photo's of the Freeze Plugs yesterday to determine if they were Brass or not. Just a few inches higher on the picture and I may have had it. Thanks Don!

Boatfix lists that manual, but when you click the link it comes up Page Not Found. Is this particular Manual only available Commercially?

That is what I needed to know. I will look for the Serial Number of the engine next weekend and order the manual. Thanks Don S and Dave.

Found #24 on Ebay and now have it in my hands. I thought my OMC Outdrive Manual was thick! I purchased a Supplement at the same time. Turns out to be for a 6.2L. Anybody need one? Are there supplements published or Service Bulletins pertaining to my 5.0 that would be helpful?
