Need Merrcury top cowl part

Hello,

I have a 2010 Mercury Bigfoot 50 HP, and the plastic cover part that attaches to the top cowl got broken and a piece of it is missing.

I'e poked around some online and it looks like the top cowl is all one part, so where should I look to try and find this thing?

Do you have your engine serial number handy?

You may be able to repair it or have it repaired. Try doing a Google search on how to repair outboard cowlings, there are some repairs that turned out pretty nice.

I've got a 50 four-stroke cowl I took from the dump (it's cracked but the decals are good, I'm not a regular scavenger) anyways I don't know what hear, I'll take a pic of it and see it it may fit yours? Is the plastic peice attached to the top cowl?
