Looks like my 16 year old Charles battery bank charger has taken a lightning strike and needs replacing. I have four batteries on my houseboat, two motors, generator and house battery. For some reason the gen batt was not on the charger bank. The Charles brand has worked very well and has never boiled out any of my batts. I see them still available but I read on their website that they are getting out of the charger biz. Anyone have any suggestion for a replacement. I like the NOCO Genius but see too many bad reviews on Amazon. My charger stays connected 365 days a year and it may be months between visits in the winter so I need a very dependable unit. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Haven't had it long, but I like my 2-bank Minn Kota "Precision Charger" smart charger. I believe they come in 1, 2, 3 or 4 bank.

It is big, and it is heavy! Like it should be.

I was looking at a Minnkota on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/MinnKota-Boar...attery+charger
I
am also looking at the MK 318PC 3 bank. I don't a lot of diff between it tna the MK 315D I mentioned above other than the ability to select different battery types. I plan to use flooded lead acid batts.

The Minnkota reveiws on Amazon all look good for the 315D. Only two negs and they were about beat up packages at delivery. Minnkota customer service got very good reviews.
