you didn't trailer it with the top up did you? i tried to get a new canvas for mine when i got it and found out its cheaper to buy a hole new top i got mine from Overtons just under 500 for one 8x8x4 with 1 1/4 tubing

They have bimini hardware, but I don't know how competitive their prices are with West Marine, Boater's World, or even this other site I know of called iBoats.com
Could you make one with conduit, a pipe bender, and an orbital welder?? I've thought about doing this but figured it seems to easy. There must be a catch.
Do you have an old one that you are replacing or does the new one have to be designed from scratch?
new design, the existing frame is for the coach type bimini, i wanted a regular bimini, bought a cover, but fits OK, but is too low, and the back drops down so far, it blocks my view astern.

He has done three canvas jobs for me over the years and does most of the canvas work for our boat club.
I bought my new top at Bass Pro. Lucky for me, I only live 120 miles from Springfield,Mo, Bass Pro National headquarters. They have a catalog return center where merchandise is returned. My new top cost less than $50 and the complete frame is less the $150. All sizes and colors are available. Check the Bass Pro website.
if i had a schematic, with measurements i would just make a frame. i could use all the fittings off the old top. may just go to the store and measure one.
